Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) of producers are regulated through grant of EPR Authorization. For EPR Authorization producers as defined below are required to apply in form – 1 of the above said rules to CPCB. This on-line E-Waste Management System is a on-line portal where applicant producers can apply on-line for grant of EPR Authorization. The present module is EPR Application module limited to online application submission and grant of EPR Authorization. All the stakeholders like producer, PROs, dismantler, recycler and refurbisher are required to register themselves on this system. Transporter and collection points / centers are added into this system by producer, PROs, dismantler, recycler and refurbisher. ‘Producer’ means any person who, irrespective of the selling technique used such as dealer, retailer, e-retailer, etc.

(i) manufacture and offers to sell electrical and electronic equipment and their components or consumables or parts or spares under its own brand.

(ii) offers to sell under its own brand, assembled electrical and electronic equipment and their components or consumables or parts or spares produced by other manufacturers or suppliers.

(iii) offers to sell imported electrical and electronic equipment and their components or consumables or parts or spares.
